“I started to make music because I wanted to make people happy and give them a mental escape.”
says Sonny Hoogwerf, founder and lead singer of Sonny’s Inc. In the late 1990s, Sonny began building a versatile band with musicians capable of moving effortlessly between musical styles. His vision was to create a rich blend of rock, soul, jazz, Latin, folk and dance music, a sound that feels both familiar and refreshingly unique.
The seven-piece band he formed quickly became known as a group of some of Holland’s finest musicians, all trained at the Academy of Music. Their chemistry on stage and exceptional musicianship laid the foundation for what would become one of the most respected entertainment bands in Holland.
Audiences quickly discovered that a performance by Sonny’s Inc. is more than just live music. The band has a unique ability to connect with the crowd and turn every event into a shared experience. In 2006, Sonny’s Inc. decided to thank their growing fan base by organising a free open-air concert in the town of Laren. What started as a special gesture quickly turned into a remarkable success, with more than 2,000 people attending the very first show.
Thanks to sponsorships and local support, this annual celebration continued to grow. Each year, audiences are treated to spectacular lighting, surprise guest performers and the unmistakable energy that has made Sonny’s Inc. one of the most loved entertainment bands in Holland.
Beyond the stage, Sonny’s Inc. is also deeply committed to giving back. Founder Sonny Hoogwerf serves as Regional Ambassador for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the band regularly supports charitable initiatives and community events.
Over the years, Sonny’s Inc. has collaborated with renowned Dutch artists such as Jeroen van der Boom and René Froger, raising funds for important causes including diabetes research. It’s just another way the band continues to use music to connect people and create unforgettable moments.

Sonny’s Inc live gezien bij de Harbour Club in Amsterdam. Wat een ongelofelijk mooi feest hebben ze er van gemaakt. De muziek begon rustig en richting het dessert ging het dak er vanaf. Spetterende show, danseressen, goede vocals en kneitergoede band! Aanrader!

Werkelijk waar fantastisch, wat er neer gezet word is echt uniek. Samenhang van hele goeie artiesten, alles is mogelijk bij Sonny’s Inc. We zijn nu al 3 evenementen verder, elk evenement was een groot succes🙏

Sonny’s inc is in één woord te omschrijven: Fantastisch! Na het zien van hun optreden tijdens lekker Laren wist ik het gelijk, hun wil ik op mijn bruiloft als ik ga trouwen! En mijn droom is uitgekomen. Wij houden van een feestje en alleen een dj is dan niet voldoende. Sonny en zijn angels maken er een echt feest van! Fantastische muzikanten en prachtige stemmen van de dames. Zij zorgden ervoor dat jong en oud niet stil zaten en iedereen stond te dansen op de dansvloer! Een aantal gasten waren nog niet bekend met Sonny’s inc maar die werden omvergeblazen door de enorme enthousiasme, fantastische band leden en prachtige dames ( en heer).
Wij horen nog steeds van onze gasten wat een fantastische band zij waren. Enorm genoten! Sonny enorm bedankt voor onze onvergetelijke bruiloftsfeest!

Ik ben al vele jaren fan van Sonny’s Inc. Als evenementenorganisator kom ik veel “bandjes” tegen die allemaal zorgen voor een gevulde dansvloer… maar Sonny’s Inc is anders.
De band bestaat uit de allerbeste muzikanten, topzangeressen en een topzanger. Of ze nou spelen op een gigantisch podium voor duizenden mensen of in een kleine ruimte bij een intiem diner… Sonny’s Inc past zich als een kameleon aan.
De band ziet er altijd top verzorgd uit met de juiste kleding (ook de technici!!), zijn ruim op tijd aanwezig, komen hun afspraken altijd na… en zijn gewoon gezellige mensen.
Tja, en dan hebben ze ook nog eens de gouden troef: Sonny! Deze Meester-Publiek-Inpakker weet altijd de juiste snaar te raken. Hij bruist van de energie en zorgt samen met de rest van de band voor een feestbeleving waar nog heel lang over nagepraat wordt.
We zien elkaar weer snel op een volgend topfeest.

Sonny’s Inc. maakt onze bruiloft tot een geweldig feest. Vanaf de eerste tot de laatste noot stond de dansvloer vol. Wat een bizar goede band, van blazers tot zangeressen, van drummer tot Sonny zelf, wat een belevenis maken zij ervan. Het is voor ons en onze gasten een onvergetelijke feest geworden!

Het is geen feest als SONNY’s INC. niet is geweest.
Ik ken de band al meer dan 10 jaar en overal waar ze in het openbaar optreden, gaan we bij ze langs om naar hun muziek te luisteren.
En als je in een dip zit, dan is deze feestband helemaal goud om er snel vanaf te komen.
En je komt ze echt overal tegen, zelfs op een vrachtwagen.
Ik ken de band al meer dan 10 jaar en overal waar ze in het openbaar optreden, gaan we bij ze langs om naar hun muziek te luisteren.
En als je in een dip zit, dan is deze feestband helemaal goud om er snel vanaf te komen.
